When creating a map or uploading a layer, often the item does not show up in the search results as the search result snippets are cached. We need to be able to disable the caching or be sure the cache is invalidated when new maps/layers are added so they show up immediately. Its confusing to the user who just added a map/layer that they dont show up in the home page or the layer/map browse pages.
