I have found myself countless times doing create a section stored in {_sec}: only to realize a isn't a part of the pattern n forced to use create section stored in {_sec}

Change the pattern from create [new] section [with [arguments variables] %-objects%] (and store it|stored) in %objects% to create [a] [new] section [with [arguments variables] %-objects%] (and store it|stored) in %objects%
