Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Play any video from vertical orientation with automatic screen rotation turned off
2. Tap the full screen icon
3. While video controls are visible, drag video down from the top into "footer" mode
4. Close the video by tapping the "X" icon

Expected behavior

Usually when an application is stuck in horizontal orientation and automatic rotation is turned off, rotating the device from horizontal to vertical will make a small icon appear in the bottom left corner of the screen which can be tapped to change screen orientation. For reference, CoMaps has this implemented.

Actual behavior

The application is now stuck in horizontal orientation. Only way to reset to vertical is by restarting or by temporarily turning on automatic screen rotation.
