Occasional complete UI freeze when playlist is open and you going back to a smaller video frame and don't close the playlist before

Steps to reproduce the bug

I can't 100% reproduce the bug I can only give instructions in which circumstances it occurs

1. You're in full screen mode
2. You open the playlist while staying in full screen
3. Then you go back where the video usually only covers the left part of the screen
   (usually with the back button but for me it's currently the back function button on my mouse, without closing the playlist)
4. Then you usually have to whole left video frame being extended from top to button of the app without going back to the normal aspect ratio of the video (like in the screenshot)
5. And here it happens that the playlist sometimes becomes no selectable greys out and at the same time nothing else in the app can be clicked, the whole app then has to be closed.

Expected behavior

going back to smaller video frame size the player or rather the playlist overlay should not keep the video frame extended from top to bottom of the left half of the app, and the playlist overlay should be able to be closed at any time.

Actual behavior

In some cases the playlist greys out when the playlist is still open while going back to the app view with video title, comments and recommendations on the right side but then nothing in the app is selectable anymore and has to be force closed
