Hi,
I’ve been using the Mint app since September and it’s been a great tool. I have a few observations and suggestions based on my daily workflow in version 1.4.1 to help improve the experience:
- Search & Filter Issues (Unreconciled Page)
- Search Inconsistency: The search in the Unreconciled page is not working properly. I am unable to get accurate results when searching by keyword or transaction amount; sometimes the results are completely different from the search terms.
- Global Filters: It would be great to have filters in all the tabs (Match and Reconcile, Bank Clearance Summary, etc.). Currently, these tabs show a mix of cleared and uncleared entries; a filter to see only uncleared entries would significantly speed up the workflow.
- Bank Clearance Summary Improvements
- Linked Transaction Column: It would be very helpful to have a column showing if a Bank transaction is linked to the Payment Entry (PE) or Journal Voucher (JV). This would save me from having to manually open every PE/JV and check the "Connections" to see if it’s already linked.
- Bulk Actions: Adding checkboxes on the left side to "Force clear" multiple uncleared entries at once.
- Matching Rules Logic
- Logical Operators (AND/OR): Currently, matching rules seem to use OR logic by default. Adding an option for AND logic would be a huge improvement, especially for descriptions that share similar names but need specific keywords to differentiate them.
- Duplicate Rules: An option to duplicate existing rules instead of creating them from scratch every time would be a massive time-saver.
- UI Enhancements
- Table Controls: Allow for manual column width adjustment and persistent sorting of tables.
I hope you are already considering some of these improvements. Thanks for the great app!
