Bank transfer does not work with different currencies

When doing a bank transfer between two bank accounts of different currency it does not generate a match and only matches bank transactions of one side.

Bank transactions of the other bank account currently need to be manually connected to the payment entry. This is error prone and not robust.

Yeah multi-currency isn't supported as of now. Tricky to implement, but will check ERPNext to see how they manage this.

@nikkothari22 - understood - its not straightforward. Perhaps a short term approach may be to:

1. put an alert to notify that "inter-currency bank transfers are not yet fully supported, recommend to do this transaction manually in ERPNext".

It should be fairly easy to identfiy that this is happening by checking the currency of the two selected bank accounts - if they do not match then its an intercurrency transfer
