sprint 36 freezes if spaceUnit is set to zero in the global preference file.

(Was) sprint 36 freezes if I press the arrow right or end keys on my keyboard (Windows 7).

If I watch my step and pay attention, brackets works perfectly, but if I press that key, I have to close it by the taskbar: it freezes :/

@dvorapa Does this happen everywhere, or only when focus is in editor (or some other element) and in a certain type of text?

Is your keyboard English or some other language?

Do you have any extensions installed? Try Debug > Reload Without Extensions to quickly test with no extensions.

I haven't heard of this problem, so any narrowing down will help us find problem.

It happens every time I write the code. I usually write html, php, dart, js, json, css etc. I write... write... and after a while if I press the arrow right key, Brackets freezes. Sometimes it doesn't freeze on my first press of this key, but after some presses always. I use clear installation without any extensions added and I have Czech (central european) keyboard layout. I found this awesome editor two days ago, but the arrow right key doesn't let me to work properly. I'll try to reload without extensions and also to press the key in the menu for instance and finally I'll let you know.

Well, I tried all possible possibilities and a little testing and it looks like some bug or problem with Node.js

Today, my co-worker told me, that his editor (PSPad) started to add extra lines if he pressed the arrow right key. Every solution didn't work until he reinstalls the Node. According to his recommendation, I tried it and everything works right now.

Because I tried first to reinstall. Nothing changes. Than I tried to reload without extensions, to change keyboard layout, to chceck the problem out of the edit field. Everything failed. And finally, I tried to uninstall this and Node.js, to precisely (and carefully) delete every file and registry, that was connected with Node and Brackets, and then to reinstall both. Now everything works right for now.

Please reopen, it's back! If I press the arrow right or end, it freezes! I tried everything, but nothing worked. And then I realized it! The first thing, what I do, when the installation is complete is, that I set this into the preferences:

}

That's it! That's the setting what makes Brackets freeze. If I set the 0 into the spaceUnits setting in the preferences file globally, the arrow right or end keys on my keyboard (often after small amount of pressing: 2-5 presses of that keys) makes Brackets freeze! Please fix!
