Clicking large binary files can result in freeze/crash

I'm working on a project with a bunch of video files in subfolders, and whenever I accidentally click on one Brackets freezes completely and I have to kill it from the task manager. They are a mixture of .mp4 and .mov files. The behaviour is the same when I reload w/o extensions.

I'm not expecting to be able to do anything useful with it, but it would be nice if I couldn't bring the whole editor down with a single missed click.

Brackets Sprint 38, Windows 7 x64.
