ESLint/TSLint timed out after 10000ms

For the past 6 months or so ESLint and TSLint will randomly timeout after 10000ms. To get linting to work again I have to reload Brackets several times until I get lucky.

I'm using a Windows laptop my workplace provided me with which has a 2.40GHz CPU and 8GBs of RAM, so that might have to do with the slow load times. Would increasing the timeout fix this problem? If so, how would I do that?

You shouldn't need to restart Brackets to get linting again, doing a simple file change (and save) should be enough.

I don't restart, I reload (F5). When I reload it usually either still tells me ESLint, TSLint and/or Typescript has timed out after 10000ms or Typescript max connection attempts reached.

Doing a file change and then saving doesn't fix anything.
