[bug] Some pages not fitting to width

On some pages, when I try to fit to width, it only zooms to 100%, and I have to invert the color and invert it back in order to be able to fit to width properly. it's also inconsistent, as when I fit to width, some pages are far zoomed out or zoomed in while others fit to width.

@Ignatius18652 do you mind recording a video of how it looks like?

It's only responsive to a certain point for me before it won't fit the width of my terminal split, which is sad because it'd be awesome to have vim open in the right hand split. I'm on a 13 inch screen so I don't have a lot of real estate to play with.

@piersolenski @Ignatius18652 to be honest.. i can not reproduce this issue. do you folks mind picking the latest changes in main (it has some additional logging)
and send me the logs when you have this issue observed ?
