All trivial fixes to the working versions of the conventions and conformance documents should be added to this issue. A "trivial fix" means one which rectifies a problem that anyone would consider to be accidental, such as a typo, formatting error, broken link, spelling or other English mistake. Any pull request to make a trivial fix should be stated in this issue, and merged after the usual three-week period if there are no objections (objections are very unlikely to any trivial fix), but this issue should not be closed until CF 1.14 is finalised. Thus, by the time that we are ready to build CF 1.14, there might be several defects that are described in this issue, and fixed by pull requests which have been merged. At that time, the issue will be closed, along with any other concluded issues to be incorporated in CF 1.14, and a new empty issue, like this one, will be opened for trivial fixes to be included in the following version.
This issue should not be used to comment on non-trivial defects where the wording of the conventions or conformance document is hard to understand, could be misinterpreted, or does not have the meaning which was intended when the change was agreed. In those circumstances, we can rectify a defect by modifying the text, but in doing so we have be careful that we're not changing the convention, since that should be dealt with as an enhancement instead. Such corrections are therefore non-trivial, and each one should be considered in its own defect issue and be recorded as such in the revision history of the conventions document.
