It gave us unpredictable serial numbers with non destructive tests on modern kernels (7.x?) on rawhide afaik |

right, I remember now. Will need to investigate more if there is a different way to fix this. There's also a relevant ticket in jira maybe we'll get more info out of it. |
It is causing issues on c9s downstream releases.
