Fastest serverless distributed SQL database for always available applications

https://aws.amazon.com/rds/aurora/dsql/
Currently in "preview" ...
"99.999% availability with no single point of failure and automated failure recovery"
this is what
Aurorashould always have been!! 🤦♂️Our experience of using the "old"
Aurorafor clients was it was slow and expensive. 🐌 💸3 things that are not covered:
What if we want to have it running in more locations? 💭
Keeping my eye on this but not wasting any time on "preview" ...
Going to continue with
Autobase#114 onHetznerdwyl/learn-devops#97as it will serve our use case more than adequately with the same availability for a tiny fraction of the price.
(don't expect "serverless" Postgres to be cheap!)
