I've managed to build it on my system, but on Generoso I see

in the logs. I think this depends on Mesa (which I believe provides those libraries and headers). So maybe/probably the CUDA samples should depend on Mesa? (for you and me, it probably picks up these libraries from the OS, which is why it works for us)
