Can't load this message (m.room.pinned_events)

Steps to reproduce

1. In a public, unencrypted room (in this case https://matrix.to/#/#LateNightLinux:matrix.org )
2. Pin a message (there were already several pinned messages)

Outcome

What did you expect?

I expected the message to appear in the pinned messages sidebar, which it did, but I also expected no new messages to appear in my timeline.

What happened instead?

A new message appeared in my timeline:

It was misunderstood which version of compound-web the fix was in. Linked to the correct PR now.
