Missing Fedora Metadata

The number of PIDs present in the Solr export is larger than the Fedora export.

• Identify the PIDs missing from the Fedora export
• (Timeboxed) Investigate if there are any commonalities among the missing PIDs
• Identify if there is any metadata for the missing PIDs to get
• Get any metadata for the missing PIDs

I ran some metadata comparisons and tried out a few theories but still couldn't find a pattern. Then I started opening up the records in the Keep, and it looks like the explanation might be the simplest one: the people who uploaded these objects didn't fill in all the required metadata, and those hardware fields were left blank. I want to spot check a little more before saying this is a non-issue, but that's the direction I'm leaning.

@rotated8 We have a complication: when I went to get the info for the 2 missing pids, I realized there are additional technical and other metadata fields in the Keep that aren't part of either the Solr export or keep_hardware_metadata.csv. Kathryn and I aren't sure how they ended up excluded during the previous project, but they're important enough that they need to be part of the migration. Can we rerun the Fedora metadata export after all to include these missing fields? That'll also pick up the 2 newer pids, so there's no need to add them manually. I'm sorry for the added work and not catching this sooner.

Below are the field labels from the Keep UI that I don't see represented in either export. I don't know the field IDs in Fedora.

• Covering Dates
• Imaging Date
• Creating Application
• Original Software Environment - Name
• Original Software Environment - Version
• Original Software Environment - Type
• Copyright Holder Name (it's possible this field was never used, but if it was, we should export the values)
