Parser exercise is too difficult

In this post on the forum, its clear that the student is not enjoying the parser exercise, and is not learning in the most efficient / easiest way.

Quite unfortunate indeed when reading his feelings. Is there a feedback system on steps of the syllabus in exercism? Such as like/dislike for exercises or something similar such that maintainers know if that’s a one-off feeling or shared by others doing the track? (No idea myself as I’m not much involved anymore for quite some time)
