revision on basics concept and its exercise

I'll start to revise the concepts one by one. I'd like to have your opinion specially on:

1. How clear is the text?
2. Is the text too verbose?

There are also two things I made kinda without any "standard" and I'd like to "fix", so as to have an uniform treatment across exercises. I don't have a strong opinion on any of them:

1. The stub for the exercise which will be presented for the student. Should it have all functions declared, with everything needed for it to compile (the global directive for each one, etc.)? Or should it be mostly empty? In the latter case, should it have comments indicating what to do, or should we expect the student to read the instructions? All of those approaches are used in other tracks.
2. The hints for each task. Should it indicate all necessary steps? Or should we just say something like "there is an instruction which does X"?

Don't need to rush things, this is meant to be a final pass before actually testing each exercise. The request for review is meant more as a reminder.

I want to revise all concept exercises along the next two weeks. I'll probably finish the two last concept exercises (and possibly a third about interfacing with C) this week. Then it'll be a few days, maybe a week, to associate practice exercises with concepts. And then, if everyone is happy, I want to open the syllabus to the community in beta.

My son will probably be born at some point between mid-November and mid-December and then I'll have to step away from track maintenance for some time. Let's hope I can finish everything before then.
