Help/manual in a wiki

Shall one remove the 'readme'-branch and publish its content in the wiki and or a github page? I think it would be more visible and the drawback of using (github-) markdown instead of LaTeX for writing about LaTeX is imho reasonable.
Furthermore one can minimize the need for uploading pdf/binaries.

The readme was written using the template itself, such that I could use some of the cmds in the readme to demonstrate them. However, the readme could actually be copied to the wiki, you are right. I might do that at some time, but right ATM there is more important stuff to be dealt with.
