I cannot see where to declare a domain name and install my SSL wildcard certificate and key to use https

I think all you have to do is to replace the two files ka9q.crt and ka9q.key in the top directory with your own certificate and key, and then run:

make install

Not sure what you mean when you write 'declare a domain name' - that's probably dependent on how your installation of ka9q-web is exposed to the Internet, but I might have misunderstood your question.

Thanks so much I will play later. Be declaring a host name of found the .conf files nginx and lighttpd seem to demand the domain of the certificate. Probably not needed.
