showFirstOption: false doesn't work in Chrome on Google Nexus 7 tablet

The first option is visible on the Google Nexus 7 tablet (Chrome) when this setting is used

This is a tricky one, since the original select box is used for tablet devices. I will look at this in more detail in the next release and let you know if this can be fixed. Thanks for the report!

When using the showFirstOption option with mobile/tablet browsers, the first drop down option will now be disabled instead of hidden. Since the actual select box is used for mobile/tablet browsers, hiding a select box option is not possible since it is not in the W3C specification; which means it can not yet be supported.
