GUI issues - App not using full screen

Loving Beanconqueror so far, great app!

I'm using a Samsung S10 5G on Android 12. Running Beanconqueror v8.5.0.

The app does not take up the full screen, and the text of the tabs is cut off.

Looks like it's misreading the size of the screen.

I saw #1003 , not sure if that's the same issue.

Yup, that's definitely the same group of problems as #1003. Unfortunately, Android edge to edge handling is fundamentally broken in the latest release and not reasonably fixable without the tech updates that come with #1006 .

Those updates are already in the develop branch. Can you try the Beta release (contact us on discord) or if you prefer that, your own build of the current develop branch?
