Problem description
#2075 introduced the capability of linking independently executed policies (or modules) into a chain, the execution of each link in such chains can be automatically triggered by the previous link via publishing a document of the type which has been configured to be the 'source' for the link.
Current visualisation of the trustchain in Guardian does not support the actions/events in 'external' policies - they are invisible to the current user operating on the 'this' instance of Guardian hosting the current policy link.
Requirements
Introduce the capability to show significant events/documents in the order of their occurrence covering the entire chain of linked policies so the user can clearly navigate through it and verify the entire chain is valid.
Definition of done
- Guardian trustchain UI supports policy chains
- The corresponding API facility exists
- Documentation updated accordingly
Acceptance criteria
- Given the token, users are able to navigate and thus verify its entire trust chain irrespective of whether it was a single Policy or a chain of Policies.
