The Radtel RT-4D is a DMR HT. The OEM is the iRadio DM-4R. These radios are the same but the protocol may be unlike other Chinese radio models.
It has 1024 memory channels and 16 MB flash IC memory that takes a radio id address book of up to 12268 blocks.
We have been discussing in the matrix chat, but this is a ticket to track the work and facilitate further discussion/testing with the community.
Caveats:
The radio firmware has changed a bit since the radio was first released and so the codeplug schema is different even between the two latest versions. In their infinite wisdom, they added new fields in the middle of the codeplug, which broke backwards compatibility with the CPS and codeplugs.
Suggest working only with FW v3.16 since that is the latest supported, but is still beta.
v3.14 is "stable" but the data columns are different from v3.16. Pushing to a v3.14 radio with v3.16 schema will result in rx groups and promiscuous mode working improperly.
