Why can't i run metahooksv on The Specialists Mod?

i've been trying to use metahooksv with the specialists mod for half-life.

it's on a 4554 build and it uses rev emulator. it always keeps saying that it can't locate the build number (MH_LoadEngine).

i've also tried using the standard metahook and metahook_blob.

What am i doing wrong? is the specialists mod for half-life just not supported?

Can you try latest build again?

i tried running it on other renderers. it seems to recognize that it's running on build 4554 on software renderer.

yes, i did make sure it was running on opengl. i also used metahook_blob and normal metahook.exe. (this screenshot was taken after launching HL without metahooksv)
