There are no error messages or normal prompts—just complete silence, and I have to stop it manually. Did I misconfigure something? Did I By the way, I downloaded the Windows .exe version to use. What step did I not take correctly？

@LiHai-26 getting started with tdl can be very confusing, it is not intuitive even with the docs. You figured it out at the end, as repeated in the comment above. Note that that those particular links are never going to download, since the group you linked to has been banned.
