Touchpad advanced/rewind not working

Description of the bug

When I attempt to fast-forward or rewind using the touchpad on my Apple TV remote, instead of advancing the video, it rewinds to the very beginning of the file.
My setup:

• Apple TV 4K (3rd generation)

• Swiftfin version 1.0.1

• Jellyfin server version 10.10.7

• Remote: Siri Remote (touchpad)

Additional observations:

• The playback overlay displays 00:00 for both current time and duration when
  this occurs
• Using directional buttons (left/right arrows) with the 30-minute skip setting
  works as a workaround, but requires multiple button presses
• The issue doesn't occur in the Jellyfin web player on the same server

This is severely limiting usability for longer content. Would appreciate any guidance on fixes or workarounds.

Reproduction steps

1. Enable click and touch on Apple TV.
2. Open Jellyfin app.
3. Go to Media and select Movies or TV Show
4. Select a movie and play it
5. use the touchpad to advance on the Apple TV remote
6. Observe: Instead of advancing/rewinding, playback jumps to 00:00
