Won't launch on Niri

Describe the bug
Jellyfin player doesn't start on my system when using Niri WM. The app starts properly on KDE Plasma, but I don't really use it at this point. I don't know why the player tries to launch using X11. If there is some user error involved, please let me know.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch jellyfin-desktop in Niri
2. The program won't start

System information

• OS: Linux 6.19.10-1-cachyos
• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080
• Wayland

I have the same issue on Hyprland Nixos, I believe it is a bug of the 595 nvidia drivers, i found the app not opening when i tried them in beta, reverted to 580 drivers and it was working as usual, however now that the latest stable drivers are also on 595, the app doesn't open again
