[Feature Request] Option to view completed jobs

As a user I want to be able to look at job stdout and stderr after a job has finished.

The squeue command could include the "starttime" output format field and a simple filter could be implemented with a prompt to the user to input a date and time in a common format, maybe even the --starttime option values of sacct.

Right now I'm using turm --states all for that, it will show you cancelled, failed and finished jobs (up to I think 5 minutes or so).

Thanks, I tend to forget that you can use any old squeue options, thanks! While skimming the manpages I could not find an option for squeue to change that default, e.g. for showing all runs of today.

This scratches the most immediate itch, will leave this open for you to decide if you want the user interaction (filter) as sketched.

it does not seem like i can use the --start option that squeue provides, correct?
is there another way to control how far back i can see completed/failed jobs?

--start is currently not supported, but would be a nice and relatively easy addition (#34).

squeue --states all only shows completed/failed jobs for a relatively short time. after that, the only way to find those jobs is with sacct (#37).
