the wifi generated from the esp is very slow. my internet is not the problem, its fast with 250 mbits. with the esp i am almost getting 1 mbits, not more

This is indeed very slow - maybe bad signal strength or congested 2.4 GHz band? Which type of ESP32 are you using?

However, even in optimal conditions don't expect anything near the 250 mbps. This is technically impossible for WiFi 802.11n in general, especially when you consider, that any packet is transmitted twice over the air and the processor is not the most powerful one.

I am not expecting it to be that fast, but ~10 mbits should be ok. It's the esp32 dev module I had the esp32 very close to the router and my phone also

Just uploaded new version, compiled with optimized options for speed-up. I can get around 6 mbps on an ESP32-c3 here.

I tried it again, uploaded the Firmware again and it's again so slow that I Couldnt Even get a speedtest to load 😬😫

That's definitely some kind of a problem with your board/setup. On an ESP32c3 with the weakest CPU performance of all available ESP flavors I now get 13 mbps download and 7.5 mbps upload speed on a 50/20 internet connection with RSSI -54 dB. I have no other complains concerning speed.

Yeah, then nevermind. It's a Problem with my esp then. Gonna try it out on an other esp at some point
