packer is a key part of my homelab, providing consistently replicable proxmox templates for terraform to clone from, rebuilt daily
the typical extension is foo.pkr.hcl but foo.pkr.json is supported for backwards compatibility
the auto-detected hcl icon is too generic imo, i would like to see a specific icon for packer to differentiate it from other hashicorp tools
