Discrepancy in Campaign Visitor Numbers Since September

Dear Support Team,

I have noticed an issue regarding the reporting on GrüneJobs.de specifically related to ongoing campaigns:

Under Acquisition > All Channels > Referrers, the number of visitors shown for Referrer (Campaign) from September to date differs from the numbers displayed under Campaigns in the navigation. In previous months, these numbers were consistent.

Could you please clarify the reason for this discrepancy and advise which figures should be considered authoritative?

Can you please confirm that there is still a difference between the 2 reports?
If yes, can you send a screenshot or clarify how severe the data discrepancy is?

Also, if you try the same analysis for a period before September, do they match or the historical data is also incorrect?

Hi, Thank you for your message. I would like to clarify that the latest version of Matomo was already installed before the issue was even discovered. Therefore the update did not resolve the problem, as we were already running the most recent version. Since the issue persists, please reopen this ticket as suggested. Additionally, I have noticed another issue: In the campaign overview, a campaign with a tracking URL is being displayed twice (once in uppercase and once in lowercase). These two entries are showing different visit counts instead of being grouped together.
