Customers ask why bots are needed for inbound webhooks and our developer documentation isn't clear and prescriptive in this area.
Key clarifications to focus on:
- It's not clear that the bot runs as the user that created it.
- It's not clear that if the user gets deactivated, the webhook is effectively deactivated, too
- There don't seem to be any recommendations about which user think should run them and why
- There's no talk about how to setup bot accounts to be the users for inbound webhooks
