Album Art missing

Context

• Operating system and version: One Plus 13, Android 16
• App version: [Build 2026.06.06.0458]
• Music Assistant server version: 2.9.0rc2

Problem description

No Album Art (or any images) displayed for items in my Music library.
Provider is Emby
All art is displayed correctly in the web app
In the mobile app, radio (BBC Sounds plugin), and Qobuz art is displayed correctly. Just the music library is affected.

To be clear, by this you mean the MA music library items which are served by the Emby Music Provider don't show art. MA Music Library items served by The Qobuz Music Provider show correctly?

I was able to repro on 2.8.9 stable and 2.9.0rc2.

Keeping in mind that Emby Provider is still in Alpha.

Uhh, I will have to install Emby for this? Can't think of the reason why it doesn't work. Looks like MA isn't sending images in the correct place?..

Hmm, when Emby is the only provider (and no other provider are there which could serve the same covers), images are broken in webui also. So to me it looks like an upstream problem.

Let's return to this when Emby provider is stable.

I do get images in the web UI using only the Emby provider for music but I understand that it is still in Alpha.
I will raise this with the Emby provider in the meantime.

For your info: I've setup an extra fresh emby server + fresh MA server (2.8.9) stable (only 2 albums), and when MA fetched art, this art was shown in web frontend and then loaded in app. This however was NOT the art that the Emby server has. So something is off in the Emby integration.
