Currently highway=raceway is allowed on lines and areas according to iD, but the wiki says that it's only for ways (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway=raceway).
Another problem is that when searching for "Karting" for an area, you get the highway=raceway preset instead of leisure=pitch + sport=karting (i.e. the "grounds" preset).
