Seems a bit borderline as it seems rather transliteration of Arabic term, but as search term seems reasonable to add

At least it managed to get enough prominence (or people campaigning for it) to be mentioned in the English Wikipedia opening, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosque .

and here it will be only seen by people looking at preset code and indirectly seen by people searching using this or very similar terms, so seems safe?

Yep it's the actual term used in native toungue and also in countries like mine (India) which is why I was hoping to get it added. Personally I always start off searching using that word when adding a mosque and get no results which frustrates me 😄

Note that Indian dialect terms can be also added to translations, like UK dialect terms are added.
