The latest version of Brave does not work at all on 10.15, even if you were to force it: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/18347246446733-Changes-to-macOS-desktop-browser-requirements. The last version to support 10.15 was Brave 1.69. Homebrew does not offer older versions of web browsers for security reasons, so we only offer Brave 1.74 (+ beta versions). Firefox is still updated on 10.15, so that's the recommended web browser for macOS 10.15 but if you really need Brave and are OK with the security risk, that document I linked will tells you where to find older versions. |

Depends on the install method, but even if you force the install it won't work. |
