Description of issue

As in the title. All casks and formulas are downloaded fast, only libreoffice takes ages. It has 294.7MB but it takes 20 min to download 170MB...
I'm still waiting for it to finish, and brew won't install downloaded formulas and casks until all downloads finish.

I imagine that the slow download you are seeing is specific to libreoffice. It has come up in the past that they do often have slow transfer speeds on their end, but there's nothing we can do when it comes to Casks on the Homebrew side, as we simply provide an automated way of downloading the files directly from the source.

Or install other formulas and casks while there is a long download?

Yeah, I was hoping for something more manageable, like brew update --skip libreoffice so that I don't have to type all other formulas and casks separately.

Your download speed will depend on the proximity to a mirror and performance of that server. If you don't have a nearby mirror, you may want to try convincing a local university or company to become an official mirror for LibreOffice.

Just noting that I edited links as I accidentally used smaller SDK in original post. Should still be reasonable download if decent server is nearby.

You can also see what brew fetch --debug --verbose libreoffice shows as that will output exact curl command
