How to hide the "Agents" section on the home page of the mobile app?

I have never used Agent Tasks, and I have no desire to do so from the mobile app. I just want to see my favorites, but now I have to scroll even further to do so since the "Agents" section is in the way. How can I turn it off?

If you want the option to hide sections you can open a feedback request directly in the mobile app settings under Help and feedback > Share feedback

Tapping "share feedback" in the app opens this Discussions page. That's how I got here.

Yes same here. Can GitHub please give an option to remove agent stuff?

I would imagine it should be hidden if you hide copilot stuff but it doesn't.

Unfortunately, there’s currently no option to disable or hide the “Agents” section in the GitHub mobile app. The layout is managed by GitHub’s UI and can’t be customized by users right now.

If you’d like GitHub to consider adding a setting to hide “Agents” or reorder sections, you can send feedback directly through the app:
Profile > Settings > Give feedback

As I already said to someone else who gave almost the same answer, this discussions page is the "give feedback" button. Stop giving people instructions they have already followed.

You’re right 😅 I understand that repeating instructions already followed isn’t helpful. I was trying to cover all possibilities for others who might have the same issue.
Hopefully, GitHub considers adding a way to customize the home page in a future update.🤞

Well, I guess if you don’t pay, you just become “the product.”
I can just imagine the meeting with the execs from the parent company forcing this down the throats of GitHub’s developers.

When I asked for the "Agents" section to be hidden I did not mean to replace the profile tab, which I use daily, with a "copilot" button. I want less AI shoved down my throat, not more. Plus if you have to have a separate tab for that why not replace the "Explore" tab and bring back the far more useful profiles tab?

No way to hide it right now. The home page layout in the mobile app isn't customizable and there's no toggle for individual sections like Agents.

The only partial workaround is pinning your most-used repos or orgs so they show up higher, which reduces scrolling, but the Agents section stays put regardless.

There's another thread tracking this specifically at https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/189689 if you want to add your upvote there. This discussion already has strong engagement, and GitHub does track that signal when deciding what to prioritize.
