Hi Álvaro, Refunds and billing issues for GitHub Copilot can only be handled by GitHub Support, not through Discussions. To contact support directly, go to: Choose: If you’re being redirected to the AI assistant, keep following the prompts until you see the option to submit a ticket, or select “Contact GitHub Support”. Hope this helps. |

Refunds and billing issues can’t be resolved through Discussions, so you’ll need to reach GitHub Support directly. If the contact flow keeps looping you to an AI response, try this:
Include your account details and explain that the subscription was charged but not used. Refund eligibility is decided by GitHub’s billing team, but it’s best to submit the request as soon as possible. |

Just sharing my experience: I opened a billing ticket for my Copilot Pro annual renewal refund, and it was approved within about 4 days. Support processed the refund on their side immediately, and mentioned it may take 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect on my card. So if you're in a similar situation, it’s definitely worth contacting GitHub Support directly. |

Body
Hi everybody,
It looks like I didn't cancel my current subscription for GitHub Copilot Pro, and I was just charged for it.
I haven't used my subscription this month at all, and I would like to request a refund.
However, I keep on trying to open a support topic, but it redirects me to an AI response, that redirects me to the same point again.
Could you please let me know how to create a support topic to solve this issue?
Best,
Álvaro
