I have many AirPlay devices on the LAN, Apple TVs, Amplifiers, HomePods etc. and actual Macs. My wife and I both use Mac Minis and MA shows both as available AirPlay receivers, but my Mini is listed twice. Why? They have different IDs but otherwise nothing to distinguish between them. I tried to delete one, but in each case, they replied "No" AirPlay won't allow it" (or words to that effect). After messing around disabling one or another, switching AirPlay off/on on the Mac and RAOP pairing with one of them, I was eventually allowed to delete the other. Which promptly then re-appeared shortly later, but with no settings available, like it was non-functional. So I renamed it (for clarity) and disabled it. But it's still there and I'd rather not have spurious duplicates in the player list. My Mac Mini is not (AFAICT) advertising 2 AirPlay devices so what can be causing these duplicates in MA? |

You will need to look at the top of each players settings at the unique identifiers and see what is different between them. |

Updated to 2.8.6 this morning and just had a look at AirPlayers and there are no duplicates showing. So looking good. 😊
