Trailer asks to access data from other apps

This started happening around the time I upgraded to macOS Sequoia Beta so maybe it's related but I'm not certain about that.

This happens on every Trailer start.

Trailer: 1.8.11 (1719)
macOS: 15.0 Beta (24A5331b)

What a weird prompt. For the record, Trailer doesn't access data from any other app :) Is this still going on with the release version of macOS?

Also seeing this issue, it appears periodically (even after clicking Allow). There also isn't any indication from macOS what "data" it thinks Trailer is asking for.

Just to chime in, I just got the pop up and clicked "Don't Allow" which resulted in Trailer not showing any content and getting "items are hidden by your settings".

Restarted the app, got the pop up again, clicked "Allow" and now I can see all the PRs.

I normally press don't allow and trailer still sees the PRs, however every now and then all my filtering rules disappear and I have to set them up again.

Additionally I see a weird issue where I can't filter out the labels on the PRs do not merge as an example. Even if I add a single word label like revisit that still doesn't filter out.

Any ideas??

I suspect if you select "don't allow" then Trailer can't access its own data, so at that point it's surprising it works at all if you don't allow it. I have no clue that macOS is on about with this prompt TBH, as Trailer doesn't access anything outside of its own container. I haven't had a chance to dig more into it yet but suggestions and/or PRs are very welcome in the meantime!

I haven't been shown the prompt (yet, only just installed trailer on a new computer), but no repos are showing up at all for me, even though the "test" button says everything is fine, so I suspect it might be related.

I believe that this is exactly what is happening. Apparently, without "access to data from other apps" all the previously chosen Trailer settings are back to defaults, except that repositories and credentials are still there – things are synced, just not in the way I set it up. Reopening Trailer, clicking "Allow", immediately fixes the issue.

This popup is really annoying...

This build contains changes from the above PR as well as the latest round of tweaks I've been making recently. Could you try it out and see if it corrects the permission issue?
