Reasons for the request

The project has been abandoned. I base this claim on the fact that it has not had any updates on GitHub in the past 7 years and similarly has not had a release on PyPI since 2019-09-22.

Also, the author's email no longer exists.

Contact and additional research

I created an issue in the GitHub repository of the original package on 2025-12-22 to try and get in contact with the owner: aqreed/solarpy#11

I have also attempted to email the author at the email address listed on PyPI several times over the past year. However, the email address no longer exists (I received a message every time stating: "aqreed wasn't found at protonmail.com".
