Certification page - Courses coming soon is incomplete

I know we at Septima have upcoming courses listed on our webpage tagged as being QGIS certified not on the list.

So I expect the list is incomplete.

Do there need to be instructions for training centers to customize the GeoJSON feed for upcoming and past courses?

Hi @geomenke, the coming soon courses on the homepage are a filter of the created courses by each organisation on the certification platform. So, a course will only appear in the coming soon list if it exists there.

I have synchronised the staging site with the live one to get the latest data. For your case, I only see one course ahead (starting from May 21) that is also listed on the homepage. I also submitted a PR at #18 that will increase the limit to six months to see more upcoming courses.

For now, I don't think the certification platform supports fetching courses from the organisation's website, but it could be a future enhancement.

Hi @Xpirix ok, that behavior makes sense. I'm not sure how most operate, but we don't create a course on the certification platform until we have the minimum number of registrants already enrolled. So we only advertise our courses our website & social media. However, now that you've created this new feature, we will start to set them up on the certification platform as well. That way people hitting the QGIS certification page will see them too. Perhaps there could be a way of letting orgs know to do this?

I thought of another detail. When you click on an upcoming course it would be nice if the course summary included a link to that organizations webpage so they can actually register for an upcoming course.
