I agree, it was done prematurely from my part, sorry for the trouble. I'd say let's expose the framebuffer again if/when it's needed for displays without an internal buffer. |

Previously required by #66, #100, making these private again as this shouldn't be needed anymore and currently only clutters the API exposing internal logic.
