@datho7561 Are you still facing this issue? I couldn't able to reproduce it. Can you provide the steps to reproduce?

You need to install and run from the .vsix in order to reproduce the problem. I have a fix that I forgot to create a PR for. All you need to do is to add !./src/tools.json to the .vscodeignore so that it gets included in the built vsix
