While trying to run this locally, I stumbled upon this error. Since I want to keep using python 3.12+, I found this quick solution. I believe it is backward compatible with, Python 3.6+, but I didn't test myself.
Thanks a lot for sharing this very well written book, I'm having a lot of fun reading it and learning a lot.
