Add calendar of events

I've started putting together a list of days/events/months that we might want to consider putting out social media posts - see #76 .

Please add other days or events that I might have missed. The list is currently quite US-focused so a wider geographic area of events would be useful to include.

Things to think about:

• other days to add?
• which ones do we want to do?
• categorising these events (big campaign (e.g. IWD), social media posts from global account, regional days for chapter socials)?

Oh that’s so cool! When adding the #amazingwomen series to the R-Ladies and PyLadies bot on Mastodon, I initially thought of something similar but ended up going for persons instead (and just added International Women‘s Day). Would it be ok for you if I draw some inspiration for more general/less person-focused dates/anniversaries from your list and complement the bots‘ list to post about them?

I like all of the calendar events!

I like also the idea of flagging ones we want to target for bigger campaigns.

And I like adding Ada Lovelace day as well.

What do you think about adding The Software Developer Day? It is celebrated on the 256 day of the year. So 13 or 12 September.

hey @maelle! we wanted to run this json by you. do you like this formatting for a calendar of events and have a vision for how we could use it in the guide?

I have comments:

• make the key-names all lower case
• make "NA" string into null

I think that makes cleaner json format.
