[bug]: triggering an easymotion causes the central screen to shrink

Description

Triggering an easymotion <Plug>(easymotion-overwin-f) by typing the trigger key and the motion key (before selecting anything) I notice that the central area shrinks considerably. Executing :NoNeckPain twice to turn it off and on again restores sane setup.
