I hope you're doing well. I’m working on a smart city public fleet design project using SUMO 1.19.0, OMNeT++ 6.0.2, and Veins. I’ve been trying to download Veins 5.2 (as recommended for compatibility with my setup) from both the official website (https://veins.car2x.org/download/) and the GitHub releases page (https://github.com/sommer/veins/releases).
However, I’ve encountered an issue with the file sizes. The downloaded files for Veins 5.2, 5.1, and 5.0 are only around 2.11 MB, 2.09 MB, and 1.98 MB, respectively. Based on my research and documentation, these files should be between 10-15 MB, as they need to contain the full source code, examples, and documentation.
I’ve extracted the files, and the contents seem incomplete. For example, in the Veins 5.2 zip file, I only see a few small files (like .cproject, .uncrustify.cfg, etc.) and empty or nearly empty folders (like src and examples). I’ve attached a screenshot of the contents for your reference.
I’ve tried downloading with different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), with and without a download manager, and even with different internet connections, but the file size remains the same. It seems like the files on the server might be corrupted or incomplete.
Could you please check the files on your server and provide a correct download link for Veins 5.2 (or a compatible version)? I really need this to proceed with my project, and I’d appreciate your help.
